CV
I currently work as a business analyst, trainer and Web 2.0 evangelist with the Axe Group. Already this year I've worked on Macquarie Bank's CMS implementation and Pizza Hut's new website. Vignette VCM Portal and JBoss Portal were the key technologies involved.
In 2007, I taught the Online Media course for the department of Media & Communications, and developed workshops and tools for integrating Web 2.0 technologies into academic life (including an elearning wiki) for the META Centre.
I have a BA/BSc in physics and philosophy from UNSW, and an MPhil in philosophy from Sydney Uni. My masters thesis evaluated Merleau-Ponty's reception in the literature of cognitive science and explored the possibility of a transcendental interpretation of his major work, the Phenomenology of Perception. It was published in July 2008 by VDM as Invitations.

Merleau-Ponty, Cognitive Science and Phenomenology
Just released by VDM, this book is about reading Merleau-Ponty with and against contemporary cognitive science, focusing on the role of pathology in Merleau-Ponty's methodology.
The title comes from my attempt to articulate the intercorporeality of perception through the metaphor of invitation.
