CV

As an experience architect at Profero Sydney, most of my time is taken up with requirements gathering, customer analysis, prototyping (for what it's worth, I use Axure for this), and guiding the development of digital assets from a user perspective.

Before joining Profero, I worked as a project manager, business analyst, trainer and Web 2.0 evangelist with the Axe Group. I've worked on Macquarie Bank, Optus Singtel and Pizza Hut. Vignette (VCM/DPM) and JBoss Seam were the key technologies involved.

In 2007, I taught the Online Media course for the department of Media & Communications, and developed workshops and tools for integrating Web 2.0 technologies into academic life (including an elearning wiki) for the META Centre.

I have a BA/BSc in physics and philosophy from UNSW, and an MPhil in philosophy from Sydney Uni. My masters thesis evaluated Merleau-Ponty's reception in the literature of cognitive science and explored the possibility of a transcendental interpretation of his major work, the Phenomenology of Perception. It was published in July 2008 by VDM as Invitations: Merleau-Ponty, Cognitive Science and Phenomenology.

I play bass in the Sins who will hopefully be releasing a new EP late in 2010.
